A magic story for the New Year's Day. A story for the last night of the year, a magic night, in one of the historical most beautiful squares of Italy.
For the first time, Mantova celebrates its New Year's Day in a square three years running.
"About Angels and Night", in 1997; "Rebel Angels Fall", in 1998; and for the end of millennium, in 1999, "The last Angel", about Uriel standing guard to lost Paradise.

An extraordinary utopia: archangels, cherubs, and seraphs flying over the Cremlin, on the square near to the Red one. An open-air story rich of magic and fascination, with great machineries' spreading, co-production with the Municipality of Bari, to open "Theatres of the World" section, attending for the first time Theatre Olympiad.

A performance dealing about Angels and Harmony dedicated to Rome's suburban young people, which more than others need to dream and to transform "impossibility". Angels' flight over the sky of Rome, in a today's poetic story, even though placed in a different time, a "no time zone", where the fantasy of young people live.

First act of a trilogy dedicated to Angels, representing an ideal connection among places since ever symbols of spirituality, travel, knowledge: Santiago di Campostela, Bethelehem, Rome. The performance runs the path of holy representations again : "About Angels and Light" it is synthetic example of baroque aesthetics, in which wonder it is not only astonishment, neither event's result, but allegory, story, harmony between popular and cultured too.
