Roberto Rebaudengo is Genovese. He studied scenic design with Emanuele Luzzati in 1996, becoming his first assistant and then his collaborator. His first theatrical experiences were with Josef Svoboda, and Bob Wilson following which he collaborated with Scaparro, De Bosio, Crivelli, Abbado creating scenery and costumes for both theater and opera.

In 2005, he started collaborating with Studio Festi, creating video scenography and scenic machines challenging him with unusual and grand spaces.

 


For Studio Festi, among others, he created a section of the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Torino, the opening spectacle of the Italian year in China at Beijing, and more recently the opening the opening of the World swimming Olympics in Rome, all directed by Monica Maimone.

In 2009 he returned to work in theater with a Tannhäuser at the Opera di Roma.
